Singer Chris Evans Kaweesi opened up about why he prefers keeping his romantic relationships away from the public eye, claiming that going public with his last girlfriend did not end well.

He revealed that he did not spend even six months with his last publicly known partner before she was allegedly snatched away from him.

According to Kaweesi, exposing romantic partners to the public can sometimes change the dynamics of a relationship, especially when the women gain popularity, grow their social media following and begin attracting more attention.

He noted that some women change their behaviour after gaining public attention, eventually becoming too busy to make time for their partners.

“You can’t be of my age without having a girlfriend just because people want us to put our loved ones on display. The last one I showed to the public, I didn’t even last with her six months before she was snatched. Once you show your loved one to the public, things change a bit.”

The singer also urged fans to focus on his music rather than his private life, insisting that they should judge him by his musical output instead of demanding details about his romantic relationships.

He called on the public to leave his love life out of the spotlight and concentrate on the music he makes.
