Bell Lager officially launched the nationwide journey to Bell ObaFest2026 with an explosive, two-day regional activation across Gulu on October 9 and 10.
Celebrated as the ultimate beer festival, Bell ObaFest is an annual cultural showcase that unites Ugandans through vibrant music, creative expression, mouthwatering food, and exceptional beer experiences.
The celebration kicked off on Independence Day, turning Password Lounge into a bustling hub of interactive entertainment.
Partygoers dove into fierce video game matchups and lively card game sessions, while art enthusiasts added color to the night during live painting showcases.
The energy escalated with high-stakes dance competitions that kept revellers on their feet, expertly hosted by guest MCs like MC Uganda, who kept the energy high.
Adding an international flair to opening night, Nigerian recording artist Deobi took the stage as the headline act. He thrilled the crowd with popular hits, blending signature Afrobeats rhythms with dynamic stage energy.
The climax of his set arrived with a crowd-pleasing performance of “All Over You,” sparking an electric surge across the venue and cementing his connection with the Gulu audience.

Building on that momentum, the festivities moved to Kweyo Village Shoppers on October 10 for a massive second round of celebrations driven by top-tier local talent.
The venue erupted with high-octane stage performances from regional icons including Freeboy, Eezzy, and Pato Lover Boy.
The soundscape was curated by an elite lineup of DJs—DJ TING, Deejay Crystal, DJ Meek 47, and DJ Frisco with MC Lucky controlling the crowd and keeping the momentum building throughout the night.
Our goal with these activations is to celebrate the beers at the heart of these experiences by creating spaces where people can gather around great music, food, and a bell lager.
Everything we delivered across these two days in Gulu captures the standard, scale, and energetic experience that consumers across the country can expect when the ultimate beer festival takes center stage on 7th November.
