Singer Tip Swizzy, real name Nicholas Mukalazi, has confirmed that he is still not on good terms with Eddy Kenzo
Tip Swizzy and Eddy Kenzo once worked together, and through their music, they inspired a whole generation. During an interview with Sanyuka TV, Swizzy opened up about their broken friendship, further confessing that he had never seen or interacted with Eddy Kenzo again ever since their split.
“It is true we have never seen each other ever since we separated. But at this point, I do not have any issues with him. I was angry before but now I’m fine. I just don’t need to look for him or make friendships with him again. I just see him from afar. I wish him well. I do not have issues with him on my end,” he said.
Their disagreements reportedly stemmed from the time Eddy Kenzo kicked Swizzy and Geosteady out of Big Talent Entertainment, with Swizzy claiming that their friendship ended at that point because his trust was broken.
“People loved us a lot when we were still working together and he told them he was no longer working with me. That is where the problem came from.
They loved the collaboration of him and me. By then I was still young and wasn’t into the thing of contracts so it was purely trust between us,” he said.
Despite their bitter split, Swizzy acknowledged that he learnt some lessons from Kenzo and couldn’t afford to talk ill about him in the media.

“There are some things I learnt from him; he may have done me wrong but he did some good things too. I cannot speak ill about him because even his wrong side taught me a lesson. I won’t say anything bad about him but I’m not inspired by him because of how he behaves,” he said.
