Spice Diana has dismissed the idea of begging fellow musicians for collaborations, insisting that her musical reputation and influence make her a desirable partner for artists across East Africa.
Speaking to Galaxy TV, the singer revealed that she has several unreleased collaborations, including one with Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz, but maintained that she is not the type to chase fellow artists for joint projects.
I don’t beg for them, they just give me because working with me benefits both of us. Therefore, there’s no artist in East Africa who wouldn’t want to work with me.
The singer further explained that whenever foreign artists visit Uganda and consider potential local collaborators, her name is usually among the options.

According to Spice Diana, her established position in the music industry makes her an attractive choice for international musicians looking to tap into the Ugandan market.
Beyond collaborations, the singer also weighed in on the financial differences between Ugandan musicians and their international counterparts, arguing that local artists earn considerably less from bookings.
She questioned whether any Ugandan musician could realistically afford a private jet, given the relatively low amounts they receive for performances compared to what foreign artists earn when they perform in the country.
“Fingers aren’t of the same size, therefore we can’t all be on the same level,” she remarked, emphasizing the financial gap between local and international entertainers.
