Socialite and deejay Sheilah Gashumba has cleared the air regarding the circulating rumors that she beat up a girl for dancing with her boyfriend.

A few days back, rumours made rounds on social media, suggesting that Sheilah hit a dancer at one of the Kampala bars over dancing with her man.

The incident reportedly happened at Club Guvnor, where Sheilah’s boyfriend, Alex Bindandi, had gone to have a night out before a dancer allegedly approached him.

Someone is said to have sent the clip to Sheilah Gashumba, and within no time, she had allegedly arrived at the bar to see what was happening. 

The rumor claimed that she beat up the dancer and went ahead to throw money at her to buy her silence.

During one of the TikTok live broadcasts, Sheilah Gashumba poured cold water on the claims, revealing that she was as shocked as everyone at the allegations.

“Someone messaged me on Sunday on my Snap and I laughed at it. I sent it to him as well and we laughed. Where did they get these things from?

Sheilah described Alex as a very quiet person, and people take advantage of this to create false narratives about him because they do not have access to him.

“I protect what I really love. He is doing proper business during the day with different people; he is not into social media, why would I put such a person in that kind of situation. They do not have a problem with him but with me. How small is the person that I have to beat them up?” she questioned.
