Singer Princess Amirah has responded to King Saha’s recent public attacks on her husband and minister, Hon. Minister Kasolo Haruna.

King Saha made news months ago when he boldly confronted Hon. Minister Kasolo Haruna for sabotaging his concert in his home district, Kyotera.

He accused the politician of causing him a huge financial loss and couldn’t help but launch a direct verbal war on the minister during his performance at Kazibwe Kapo’s concert.

Princess Amirah, who was present during the tense attack, was tasked with addressing the issue during her recent interview with YouTuber Ibrah. She affirmed that Hon. Kasolo was not bothered by the attacks because he had already gone through worse situations.

“What happened was just a tiny piece of what he has gone through. He was not even affected any single bit. You have no reason giving time to irrelevant issues. People have insulted him worse than Saha did. The only difference with Saha is that he made a song out of it but they insult him everyday; so he is used,” she said.

Princess Amirah denied claims that she harboured ill feelings for King Saha over what happened, describing the singer as her brother, saying she loved his music and had no right to interrupt what was happening between them.

“Saha can continue doing what he wants. I have no reason to stop him. He sang his song to make money and he should go ahead and earn the money. I’m in Kampala and do not know what happened between them. I’m not part of their issues and won’t fix myself in their mess. Saha is my brother and we come from the same clan. I have no reason to get angry at him. I cannot react every time someone insults my husband,,” she said.

Amirah and Kasolo have been together for some time, and during one of her media interviews, she acknowledged holding a simple wedding (Nikkah) that wasn’t publicized, citing privacy concerns.
