Prima Kadarshi has weighed in on the ongoing debate between King Saha and Joshua Baraka, siding with the latter while describing Saha as a “local champion.”

Prima, who is known for her controversial takes on TikTok, backed Baraka’s defence of his international ambitions, arguing that the two artists have different goals and levels of ambition.

The truth is that Saha is a local champion. Joshua Baraka isn’t a local champion, so there’s nothing wrong with what was said. It’s like finding Nandujja fighting with Tems, that’s how I saw it.

The debate started after King Saha advised Baraka to focus on the local music market rather than pursuing international ambitions, suggesting that his dream of breaking onto the global stage might not materialise.

However, Baraka stood his ground, insisting that he is not content with being a small fish in a pond but wants to become a shark, signalling his determination to compete on a bigger stage.
