Pastor Wilson Bugembe has reassured people concerned about his decision to remain unmarried and without biological children, saying he believes he still has several decades ahead of him to start a family.
Speaking on Sanyuka TV, the Light the World Church lead pastor said people should stop worrying about his future following the death of King Oyo, who passed away without any officially known children.
Bugembe noted that some people have become concerned that he could also die without having children, but he urged them to remain calm, insisting that he is not going anywhere anytime soon.
People are worried that I might die without having a child, but I promise you, God willing, I’m not going to die anytime soon.
The pastor added that he believes he still has about 40 to 50 years left to live, giving him enough time to consider marriage and fatherhood.
Bugembe has previously spoken openly about his desire to have a wife and children, maintaining that his current single status does not mean he has abandoned the idea of starting a family.

Despite questions about his age and when he intends to settle down, the pastor has repeatedly indicated that marriage remains part of his plans.
In July last year, Bugembe revealed that he hoped his next major event would be his wedding, expressing his desire to finally put the long-standing questions about his relationship status to rest.
At the time, he suggested that the constant questions about why he was still single had bothered him for a long time, raising hopes that he could soon take the next step in his personal life.
