Pastor Siraje Ssemanda of Revival Church in Bombo Town has shed light on why his wife, singer Bennah Namisinga, stepped away from active music, dismissing rumours that he stopped her from pursuing her musical career.

According to the pastor, the Onkubyeko Ekibaati singer is enjoying a happier and more fulfilling life away from the music industry, dedicating much of her time to raising their children and managing her business ventures.

Speaking about her current life, Ssemanda said Namisinga was doing well and enjoying the benefits of focusing on her family and other interests.

“She is good, and God has protected her and kept her doing well. She is taking good care of our children and living a good life while running different business ventures.”

When asked whether he had barred his wife from making music, Ssemanda was quick to dismiss the claims, insisting that her decision to take a break was entirely her own.

“No, I didn’t stop her from doing music. Just like any other person who does different things, she knows how she manages her affairs.”

The pastor maintained that Namisinga still has good music to offer but believes she deliberately chose to step back from the industry to concentrate on other priorities.

“What I am pretty sure about is that she has good music, but I believe she chose to take a break from music. She dedicated most of her time to looking after her children and running other businesses.”

Beyond family responsibilities, Ssemanda revealed that Namisinga is also involved in the fashion and design business, particularly hiring out and selling outfits for functions.

Her break from active music, therefore, appears to have given her room to focus on motherhood and entrepreneurship while leaving the door open for a possible return to the music scene.
