Singer Naava Grey has opened up about her inconsistent music releases, explaining that she works at her own pace and isn’t influenced by industry pressure.
Naava Grey, during her recent TV interview, explained that she is not under pressure to put out new music, saying she is following her own timeline.
As an artist who writes her own songs, she explained that she reserved the right to give her fans new music at her own will.
“I only work on my pace and not others because I write my own songs. I’m the one to decide what I give them and because of public demand, I’m soon announcing another concert,” she said.
While other artists invest heavily in promoting their music by engaging their fans on social media and going on media rounds for their new releases, Naava revealed she does little to promote her music.
“I have been releasing music and those who visit my YouTube channel will see the new ones. I do not announce when I’m releasing music, I just release it. I do not force my music on anyone,” she said.

Despite the long gaps between music releases, Naava also revealed that she is concentrating on her side businesses, as music doesn’t pay much.
“Of course, I have other businesses, and they also take my time. I cannot depend on music alone because it doesn’t pay. You can easily go hungry if you are looking at music alone. It is better to get a side hustle and also give it your time,” she said.
