Mozelo Kidz, who is closely associated with Fik Fameica’s Fresh Gang, has revealed that he would have turned to gambling as a full-time occupation if his music career had not worked out.

Mozelo says contrary to the perception that betting is simply a pastime, some people can make it a full-time job. However, he is grateful that his music career generates enough income to support him.

The money I invest in music is got from music. I perform and do shows. I perform at schools, so the shows I get monthly depends but I’m active.

The musician also revealed that he earns money whenever he joins Fik Fameica at shows, explaining that his appearances are sometimes deliberately planned as surprises for fans.

According to Mozelo, although he is often seen with Fik Fameica, he is not signed under the rapper’s management or the Fresh Gang label.

“I am not under Fik (or Fresh Gang management), Fik is my brother, my neighbour and we are close,” he said.

Mozelo has therefore clarified that his frequent appearances alongside Fik are largely a result of their close personal relationship rather than a formal management arrangement.
