Singer Martha Mukisa has opened up about her transition into motherhood and how she has been able to balance being a mother with her music career.

Speaking during an interview on the NRG Ignition Show hosted by Mr. Henrie, Mukisa was asked whether she ever worries about how fans and the music industry will welcome her back now that she is a mother.

She explained that while some artists may feel pressured to maintain their visibility and keep up appearances, her passion for music has always been genuine, regardless of the changes happening in her personal life.

Regardless of being a mother, I still do music from a point of love, but I also realize that when you get a change in life, some things change as well.

Mukisa noted that taking a break from the industry can actually be beneficial because it gives artists an opportunity to step back, listen to other musicians and appreciate the work being done by others.

According to her, returning to music after such a break can also come with a fresh perspective because an artist gets the chance to observe what others are doing and identify areas where they can improve.

Martha Mukisa rules out the possibility of having a co-wife

When you come back after everything, your input is usually different after hearing other artists’ work, and I think people need that.

She added that the time away can also allow artists to discover new talent and creatives, including songwriters and videographers, while giving them an opportunity to identify and cover gaps in their own work.

Everyone needs that because you get to explore different writers, videographers and also cover the loopholes during this time of break.
