Veteran Ugandan actress and musician Mariam Ndagire has opened up about her decision to return to the stage after 17 years away revealing that persistent demands from her fans played a major role.
Ndagire, who has not held a major concert since 2009, said fans have continuously called for her return but she was not willing to make a comeback under just any circumstances.
According to the veteran artiste, returning to the stage required finding the right partner and having all her expectations and requirements met before she could commit to a concert.
She has now credited Twisted Events for meeting those criteria and giving her the confidence to make her long-awaited return.
Ndagire is set to take the stage this December for a concert organized by Twisted Events, marking a significant moment for fans who have waited years to see her perform live again.
Her return is expected to bring together longtime fans who have followed her career over the years, as well as a new generation eager to experience the talent of one of Uganda’s celebrated entertainers.
