Musician Lutty Neika has hit back at fellow artist Kapeke, insisting that he is not better than him musically, mentally or in any other aspect as their feud continues to escalate.

The disagreement reportedly stems from an incident in which Kapeke allegedly made derogatory remarks about Lutty after he had left the stage, describing his performance as boring and making other comments that Lutty perceived as disrespectful.

Responding to the incident, Lutty dismissed the idea that Kapeke was superior to him, arguing that the two artists could compete on equal terms if given the opportunity.

He isn’t better than me musically, mentally and in anything. If they put us there, we both can compete. I personally think everyone deserves respect, no matter of their looks and status, so what he did wasn’t right.

Lutty Neika accuses Kapeke of disrespect

The singer also expressed disappointment over the incident, revealing that he had never met Kapeke before and had no prior disagreement with him to explain the alleged disrespect.

It was actually my first time to see him. I have never had any issues with him, so I don’t understand why he did what he did.

Lutty has since called on Kapeke to apologise, warning that the situation could escalate further if he fails to address the matter.
