Upcoming musician Lutty Neika has opened up about his biggest disappointment in the music industry, revealing that some event organisers and industry players disrespect emerging artists despite knowing their abilities.

Speaking to Galaxy TV, Lutty said he has generally tried not to pay too much attention to the negative side of the industry, although he believes there are many challenges facing upcoming musicians.

He explained that one of his biggest frustrations is being invited to perform at major events only to be treated poorly because he has not yet established himself as a big artist.

Sometimes you reach a big stage and you’re going to perform and they know you but they put you down and disrespect you because you aren’t a big artist yet.

The singer’s remarks highlight the challenges upcoming musicians face as they try to gain recognition and establish themselves in an industry where popularity and status can influence how artists are treated.

Lutty also spoke about his relationships with fellow musicians, revealing that he does not have a best friend in the music industry. He explained that most of his relationships with other artists remain casual friendships without deeper personal connections.

“I have a few friends like Mimi Kampala, Crysto Panda, Pawaboy is my friend and many more,” he added.

Despite the challenges, Lutty appears focused on his musical journey, acknowledging that while the industry has its negative side, he has chosen not to give it too much attention as he continues to pursue his career.
