Singer Lil Pazo Lunabe has called for a ban on the popular social media app, TikTok, alleging that it is the major source of fake news.
A few days back, a video of Lil Pazo at Kalifah Aganaga’s Nassanga Festival resurfaced on TikTok, and a blogger inserted a caption alleging that the singer had assaulted a deejay and destroyed his laptop for refusing to play his ‘Enkudi’ song.
To clear his name, Lil Pazo spoke to Galaxy TV and condemned the lies that he said were generated to ruin his reputation.
For the years he has been in the industry, the singer swore that he had never been involved in any fight, explaining that he was simply begging the deejay to give a young artist a chance to showcase her music when the cameras caught sight of him.
“For the time I have done music, I have never been involved in chaos. I’m not that kind of artist and no one has ever seen me being involved in a fight. The deejays are my brothers and they made me what I am today.
Lil Pazo blamed the rapid spread of false information about him on TikTok, before calling for its ban.

“It is because we have over relied on TikTok. At first it was a good app but I think it is high time they reviewed it for a possible ban. Some random TikToker came up with a misleading caption that I was fighting the deejay. I have never and do not hope to disrespect anyone. No situation can push me there and everyone can vouch for me. I was just asking the deejay to give the young girl a chance, which he later did,” he said.
