Singer King Saha has pledged to complete the late comedian Kapere Lufotose’s unfinished house, which was still under construction at the time of his untimely death.

King Saha made the pledge midway through his speech at the NUP headquarters, where mourners gathered in big numbers to pay their last respects.

Sharing his last moments with the comedian, Saha reflected on the moment when he fell ill, and Kapere was one of the few people who visited him in the hospital.

During their conversations, Saha asked Kapere to hold a concert and promised him his attendance and a free performance to help him raise money to complete his home.

Kapere was my brother, and when I was sick, he came to visit me with food. He told me so many things happening in his life. I pledged to give him a free concert at any venue of his choice to help him raise money to finish his house. What hurts the most is that I have not been able to fulfill my promise, he said.

King Saha described Kapere as his brother and a very good person, saying that, because of their bond, he is ready to fulfill his promise by completing his home.

With this, he carried condolence messages in the form of money and also revealed that his friends promised to clear Mama Trump’s rent fees for the next three months.

“Mama Trump I promise you, Kapere’s house will be completed. I gave you my number personally. Do not mind what others are saying. We shall walk this journey together,” King saha said as he promised to also chip in in taking care of Kapere’s kids.
