Joshua Baraka has questioned the idea of becoming a dollar billionaire, saying he wants to be wealthy but does not see the appeal of accumulating extreme amounts of money while other people remain poor.
Speaking on KIIS FM, Baraka said he believes becoming a billionaire in dollars is overrated, arguing that it is difficult to understand how one person can accumulate enormous wealth while others struggle financially.
“I feel like being a billionaire in dollars is overrated. I want to be rich, yes, but not billionaire-rich, because why are you that rich when there are other people who are completely broke?” he said.

The singer added that he does not understand the logic behind one person owning trillions of dollars while others lack the basic resources they need to survive, especially when the wealthy have the ability to share their fortunes with those in need.
“I want to be wealthy, to be super rich, but I don’t think I want to be billionaire in dollars rich,” Baraka added.
