Singer Joshua Baraka has clapped back at King Saha, following the latter’s advice that the former ought to impress his home fanbase before targeting the global market.
A few days back, King Saha gave his perspective on music, where he urged Joshua Baraka to focus more on the local market before targeting the international market that he may not manage.
Responding to the criticism, Joshua, during a live TikTok broadcast, revealed that it is sad that some of the people young talents have to look up to have very shallow mindsets.
He added that while many may prefer being Kings of the pond, he aims to rule the ocean, preferably as a shark.

Joshua Baraka further stressed that many local artists lack exposure to modern music technology, such as EIMs (in-ear monitors), often preferring traditional CD-based performances, questioning how such artists would compete with global music icons like Burna Boy and others.
