Media personality Jonathan Nalebo has weighed in on the debate over who has a stronger music catalogue between Sheebah Karungi and King Saha, arguing that the former is bigger than the “Mpa Love” hitmaker.

According to the apostle, Sheebah has built a much bigger and more consistent music catalogue over the years, making her a bigger artiste than King Saha.

“Sheebah is bigger than King Saha anytime, any day,” he said, adding that King Saha’s music catalogue does not even match that of Fik Fameica.

Jonathan argued that although King Saha has enjoyed significant success and has been one of Uganda’s prominent musicians, his dominance is a relatively recent development, particularly over the past two years.

He claimed that in the earlier years of his career, King Saha would often rely on one major hit song at a time and continue performing and milking its popularity until he had enough momentum for a concert.

Nalebo cited some of Saha’s popular songs, including “Mulilwana” and “Gundeeze,” as examples of songs he believes the singer relied heavily on for extended periods.

He has only trended for the past two years. Before that, he would have one hit song and milk it until he gets a concert.

He further suggested that this strategy could have been inspired by veteran musician Jose Chameleone, who has also been known for building long-lasting concert appeal around his hit songs.
