Performing and recording artiste John Blaq has opened up about one of the most frustrating moments of his music career, revealing how his ‘Romantic’ music video had to be shot three times before they could get the desired content.

John Blaq explained that the first video shoot, which took place at a beach, was abruptly interrupted by rain, forcing the production team to abandon the shoot before completion.

Things, however, did not get any better during the second attempt. He revealed that the footage captured on that day turned out to be fake and had to be deleted, leaving him and the team frustrated.

The situation reportedly became even more uncomfortable when some of the people he was working with started suggesting that he could be carrying bad luck or had been bewitched.

The experience was particularly frustrating because it was his first major project.

The hardest was the ‘Romantic’ video shoot because we had to shoot it three times. On the first occasion, it rained, and we were shooting at a certain beach.

We returned the next day, but the content we shot was fake and had to be deleted. Even the people I was working with started saying maybe I was the one with bad luck or that I had been bewitched. It was my first project, and I was really frustrated.

On a brighter note, John Blaq also reflected on some of his fondest experiences in the industry, singling out his collaboration with fellow singer Vinka.

He described working with her as a sweet and amazing experience, praising the way she treated him with respect despite his relatively early stage in the music industry.

According to him, Vinka made him feel like an already established artiste, giving him peace of mind and making him feel completely at home.
