Talent manager Geoffrey Kayemba Solo has broken his silence on reports that he quit singer Rema Namakula’s management team, setting the record straight on his current role in the songbird’s career.
Kayemba dismissed the speculation, explaining that artiste management involves different departments and responsibilities, adding that he remains part of Rema’s management team despite no longer overseeing her day-to-day operations.
I’ve also heard the rumours, but as you know, management always has different arms, and I agree that I still work with her. However, there is a dude called Raymond Kiseka who handles her day-to-day operations.

His remarks clarify that while he is still involved in Rema’s management, the daily running of her professional affairs is currently handled by Kiseka.
Kayemba has built an impressive résumé in Uganda’s entertainment industry, having worked with several artistes since the early 2000s, including Chris Evans Kaweesi, David Lutalo and Mesach Semakula.
Beyond music, he has also worked with footballers as a player agent, further demonstrating his experience in managing talent across different fields.
I have heard the rumors that I no longer manage Rema, but that’s not true. I still help with her management, although someone else is handling the day-to-day operations. – Kayemba Solo #SanyukaUnCut #SanyukaUpdates #SanyukaNeBeat pic.twitter.com/8Pt03PqBS4
