Frank Gashumba has raised his stake to Shs500m for any Ugandan prophet, pastor, or apostle to walk into a hospital and heal all the sick as a sign of their mighty power.
In September, Gashumba launched an attack on what he termed “fake prophets, apostles, and pastors” in Uganda.
He claims that they do not possess the special anointed powers they always claim to have because they cannot even heal themselves when they catch a simple flu.
Gashumba believes the above-mentioned have successfully used people’s ignorance to extort money from them in disguise of tithe, and as they build their wealth and improve their lifestyles, many gullible Ugandans continue to suffer with poverty.
Gashumba challenges Ugandan prophets to heal the sick in Mulago ICU
He is now willing to give Shs500m to any pastor ready to heal the critically ill Ugandans in a hopsital of his choice.
No single prophet, pastor, or apostle heals people. Doctors heal people. These pastors have just managed to successfully manipulate you. These are masqueraders. They are even guarded by the army.
There’s a so-called prophet with a church in Mulago, but why does he let people die in Mulago? His church is surrounded by coffin-making businesses.
Don’t bring a cheque; that’s an old newspaper. I want cash. We shall get a neutral ground, a lawyer we can both trust, and we both stake our cash and head to any hospital. I have increased my stake to Shs500m. Let him come with his Shs100m.
Frank Gashumba further urged Ugandans not to be so involved with money-making businesses disguised as churches and rather develop a personal relationship with their creator.
Wake up every morning, say a prayer, and go and hustle. These churches are business-minded. I use what would’ve been my tithe to help the needy. If I ever get to a point of giving it to a prophet to buy a G-wagon, let God take me. If my wife ever attended an overnight prayer, we would split there and then.
