Veteran Ugandan director, actor, writer, theatre personality and art teacher John Segawa has weighed in on King Saha’s advice to Joshua Baraka, urging the singer to focus more on his local audience rather than putting too much attention on the international music scene.
Segawa, however, believes King Saha should first concentrate on his own career instead of constantly offering unsolicited advice to fellow musicians.
He described King Saha as someone who is fond of giving advice on almost everything, adding that the singer needs to work on his own brand and reputation.

He shouldn’t be on the level that he’s at currently. He would be vying for the levels of Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool and others, while holding such power.
Segawa further emphasized that everything in the entertainment industry is weighed against an individual’s brand, arguing that King Saha would be better off investing his energy in building his reputation and elevating his career rather than giving what he considers unnecessary advice to others.
