Media personality Evelyn Mic has advised TikTokers to be careful and avoid being used by artists who pretend to date them to boost social media engagement.
Evelyn Mic, while on NRG Radio Uganda, noted how the trend of Ugandan artists dating content creators on TikTok is growing.
Giving the example of Priscy Black and Kapake, Evelyn Mic revealed how the two are dating and aren’t even afraid to kiss in public.

She went on to advise TikTokers not to be blinded by the fame it comes with and end up being used by the artists.
There’s a trend of artists dating TikTokers. I saw Kapeke kissing Priscy Black; she has a huge following on TikTok, but I always thought Kapeke was dating Mimi Kampala. I swear.
TikTokers should, however, be careful. I wouldn’t want these artists to use you for numbers. Be very careful.
Mr. Henrie spun the conversation around, giving the context that the said TikTokers could be the ones using the artists for fame.
