Northern Uganda-based singer EeZzy has confidently declared that he is ready to headline a major concert in Kampala, insisting that staging a show at the iconic Lugogo Cricket Oval would be “a small thing” for him.

Speaking to Galaxy TV, EeZzy said he would be comfortable taking on the challenge even if the concert were organised the following day, arguing that he does not need extensive preparation to deliver a major show.

According to the singer, his confidence comes from his belief in his ability to command a stage and entertain his fans regardless of the size of the venue.

EeZzy also expressed interest in following in the footsteps of fellow regional artists such as Ray G and Acidic Vokoz, who have expanded their reach beyond their respective regions to stage concerts in Kampala.

He believes artists from Northern Uganda and other parts of the country should also be able to make their mark on the Central Uganda entertainment scene.

EeZzy rejects paid collaborations

Beyond concerts, EeZzy also shared his views on collaborations between artists, revealing that he would never pay another musician for a collaboration.

The singer described the practice of charging artists for collaborations as ridiculous, arguing that musicians should work together based on mutual interest rather than money.

“As a star, if you don’t want to give someone, then just don’t do it. Why would you ask for money?” EeZzy said.
