Singer Biswanka Derick has agreed to take on his responsibilities as a father to baby Nakabaale Angello following the DNA test results.

The test carried out at MBN Laboratory a few days ago confirmed that he was indeed the biological father amidst the back-and-forth with the mother over the child’s paternity.

Biswanka, during an interview with Sanyuka TV, revealed that following the positive results, he was proud of being called Angello’s father, noting that initially, he was in doubt because his baby mama had denied him the DNA test.

“I called that girl for the test but she refused. But after I shouted on social media, she agreed to give me the test and now I have confirmed that he is my son. I officially welcome him to my home and I’m willing to give him whatever I can in my capacity,” he said.

The singer further explained the genesis of his recent outburst on social media, insulting Tashi, acknowledging that he overreacted, blaming his actions on how she had openly disrespected him in the media, threatening to ruin his career.

“Another thing that we disagreed over was my baby mama coming out and insulting me. How can you call me broke and then insist I’m your child’s father? Do you expect me to love him? You have to respect me because I’m a star; not to embarrass me in the media,” he said.

Biswanka noted that they had only met once, got intimate once, and agreed that Tashi would opt for pills to prevent pregnancy. However, she went ahead and had the baby against his will.
