Former music producer and talent manager Bushingtone has weighed in on the ongoing debate surrounding King Saha’s remarks about Nigerian stars Wizkid and Burna Boy, saying the singer could be right depending on how he looks at the music industry.

Speaking about the controversy, Bushingtone argued that Saha’s opinion is subjective, noting that the singer has one of the biggest songs in Uganda.

He, however, distinguished personal opinions from facts, suggesting that Saha might have meant he no longer hears as much music from the Nigerian stars as he used to.

From a subjective point of view, he’s right, but from facts, he is wrong. I think what he meant to say is that he doesn’t hear them as much anymore.

To support his argument, Bushingtone revealed that he had checked Apple Music and Spotify charts and listed the top 10 songs on the platforms, noting that King Saha’s music was not featured among them.

Despite the differing opinions, Bushingtone urged both King Saha and Joshua Baraka to put their differences aside and collaborate on a song, saying the move could benefit both artists by expanding their respective audiences.

If they did a song together, that solves the problems. Joshua Baraka gets to the local audiences and King Saha gets into the international limelight.

Bushingtone believes a collaboration between the two singers could be an opportunity for King Saha to reach a wider international audience while allowing Joshua Baraka to connect with more Ugandan music fans.
