Former producer and talent manager Bushingtone has explained why Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz travels using a private jet, saying Ugandan artists should not feel jealous or make a big deal out of it.

Speaking on a podcast, Bushingtone said Diamond’s decision to use a private jet is simply about convenience, allowing him to avoid airport procedures, public flight delays and other travel inconveniences.

“He wants to avoid the airport and public plans delays. The more you become impactful and the more your brand grows, it affects your personal life and business, so there’s nothing wrong with that as long as he can afford it,” Bushingtone said.

He added that Diamond has reached a different level in his career and that Ugandan artists need to acknowledge his growth and accept that he is operating in a league of his own.

According to Bushingtone, artists should understand that success comes with different privileges, particularly when one’s brand expands beyond music into major business ventures.

“He’s way past where we knew him from. Except when someone grows in front of your eyes, you never really acknowledge their growth,” he added.
