A Pass has revealed how Saturday night’s heavy rains in Kampala almost sent him to his creator and the floods at his house damaged a lot of his property.

The singer claims that the rains left his Najjera home flooded, with the whole house and compound filled with water, leaving much of his in-house property and car submerged.

He explains that such a night could have been fatal because of the electrical appliances, including extension cords, that could have exposed him to electrocution if he stepped in the water in his house barefoot.

A Pass thanks God for life and states that the situation made him more thankful for life because it reminded him of His protection.

The floods damaged people’s houses, fences, and all that. It is a drainage problem along the road that we talked about months ago.

I can complain and say I lost my property; my entire studio was filled with water. The cleaning only is to cost more than Shs700k, but I survived.

I have an extension cord in my room that is always powered. Imagine, with all these floods filling up my house, had I stepped barefoot on the floor, this would be a very different conversation we are having. I would be dead. I am alive and can still maneuver and buy the damaged property.
